Honda Activa led the way in the table of top 10 scooters in September 2025 in India ahead of TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access and TVS Ntorq
The scooter market continued to hold steady momentum in September 2025 with overall sales reaching around 6.44 lakh units with a moderate 9.12 per cent year-on-year growth. While Honda’s Activa maintained its long-standing lead in volumes, it witnessed a notable decline compared to the same period last year.
In contrast, rivals like TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access recorded impressive gains – closing the gap on the long-time segment leader. The Honda Activa registered sales of 2,37,716 units which were down from 2,62,316 units last month enduring a decline of 9.38 per cent. Despite the dip, it continues to be the top-selling scooter in the country.
Coming in second, TVS Jupiter recorded a massive total of 1,42,116 units this past month with a 38.07 per cent year-on-year increase. Its success can be attributed to consistent updates and fuel efficiency. In third place, the Suzuki Access posted 72,238 units – registering a healthy 34.48 per cent rise over the previous year.
