Near-Production 2026 Mahindra XUV 700 Facelift Spied Again

GaadiWaadi –

2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will get notable cosmetic revisions on the outside as well as inside the cabin while no mechanical changes are likely

The Mahindra XUV700 has been around for quite sometime now and there are signs pointing to a comprehensive update. The recent sightings of disguised mules indicate a launch window in the first months of 2026 with notable revisions inside and out while its sibling, the 3-door Thar, is also getting a mid-cycle facelift around the same period.

Caught testing again, the XUV700 facelift indicates the presence of a refreshed front design with a redesigned bumper and revised headlamp elements visible even through the camouflage. Mahindra has chosen to keep the current model’s flush-mounted door handles but the covered body panels along the sides do not hint at further enhancements to the SUV’s overall profile.

It will get a set of brand new alloy wheels while the overall dimensions and greenhouse will remain the same. We do expect the homegrown manufacturer to introduce new colour schemes to further spice up the refreshed appeal.

Although the rear lights appear to carry the same overall shape as before, the internal detailing seems to have been tweaked. The bumper at the back too hints at a restyled look while additional updates are also expected. Inside, the facelifted XUV700 is expected to gain a more premium cabin that borrows cues from Mahindra’s new born-electric lineup.

The equipment list will likely comprise a triple screen layout, more upmarket surface trims and materials, front ventilated seats, a suite of more advanced Level 2 ADAS tech, automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charger, USB Type-C ports, a 360-degree camera system, all LED lighting, ambient lighting function, multiple airbags, adjustable headrests, in-car connected tech and more.

The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 could continue with the same engine lineup – the 2.0‑litre turbocharged mStallion petrol and the 2.2‑litre mHawk diesel. Transmission options too are expected to remain familiar with both six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic setups carrying forward unchanged.

Alongside the XUV 700 facelift, the upcoming all-electric XUV 7e – derived from the XUV.e8 concept – has been frequently spotted undergoing testing in heavy camouflage. Despite adopting a battery-powered setup, the XEV 7e is believed to draw significantly from the XUV700.
