Here we have explained about the 4 upcoming Mahindra SUVs that are expected to launch within the next 12-18 months in India
Mahindra & Mahindra is developing a number of new models for the domestic market across different segments and price brackets. Here we focus on the soon-arriving ICE SUVs as the three-door Thar and XUV700 are in line to get facelifts while a brand new compact SUV could also be in the works. Here we take a deep look at them:
1. 3-Door Mahindra Thar Facelift:
Mahindra is working on the facelifted three-door Thar which has been spotted several times in camouflaged form. The SUV is expected to draw styling inspiration from the Thar Roxx featuring a refreshed grille, redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels and subtle updates to the headlamps and tail lamps as it has not been through revisions for a handful years now.
Inside, the cabin will also take cues from the Roxx with upgraded equipment and features being added. The updated Thar is slated to go on sale very soon while an all-electric version – previewed recently in concept form – is also in the pipeline for a future launch.

2. Mahindra XUV 700 Facelift:
The Mahindra XUV700 facelift has been spotted testing on multiple occasions and is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026. While the SUV will maintain its familiar proportions, updates are likely to include a new grille, revised bumpers and new alloy wheel design to stretch the lifespan of the existing generation.
The bigger changes are reserved for the cabin where Mahindra is reportedly preparing a completely new dashboard featuring a triple-display setup with a large central infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster and a passenger-side display. In addition, more premium finishes and improved safety equipment are likely.

3. New Compact Mahindra Scorpio:
Mahindra was on a concept spree recently pulling the covers off four future models alongside its all-new NU_IQ architecture. But the real crowd-puller was the Vision S – essentially a teaser for a more compact next-gen Scorpio. The catch? While camouflaged test mules are already doing the rounds and hinting at a launch as early as next year, the NU_IQ-based machines themselves won’t see the light of day until 2027. We will have to wait and see how it really pans out as the test mules look production ready.
4. Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift:
The facelifted version of the Mahindra Bolero Neo was caught testing recently indicating that its market launch could be just months away. The mid-cycle revision could introduce notable cosmetic updates and added features inside the cabin but no mechanical changes are likely.
