With a 12% YOY growth, TVS sold a total of 5,41,064 units in September 2025, as compared to 4,82,495 units in September 2024
TVS Motor Company has released the sales results for September 2025, announcing its highest-ever quarterly numbers. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer breached the 15 lakh unit mark for the first time in the second quarter of FY2026.
Talking about the sales numbers, a total sales of 15,06,950 units was reported in Q2 FY2026 (July-September 2025), accounting for a 22.69% YOY growth as compared to 12,28,223 units sold in Q2 FY2025.
Regarding two-wheeler sales, the graph exhibited an upward trajectory, with a 22% growth, registering an increase from 11.90 lakh units in Q2 FY2025 to 14.54 lakh units in Q2 FY2026. Similarly, the three-wheeler quarterly numbers reported a commendable growth of 41% with sales increasing from 0.38 lakh units in Q2 FY2025 to 0.53 lakh units in Q2 FY2026.

On the export front, TVS registered a growth of 30% with sales increasing from 3.09 lakh units in Q2 FY2025 to 4 lakh units in Q2 FY2026. In the month of September 2025, a total of 5,41,064 units were sold, accounting for a 12% YOY growth (4,82,495 units in September 2024).
The electric vehicle category contributed 31,266 units to the total sales, registering an 8% YOY growth (28,901 units in September 2024). The shortage of rare earth magnets continues to pose challenges in the short to medium term. The three-wheeler segment registered a growth of 60% with sales increasing from 10,703 units in September 2024 to 17,141 units in September 2025.

As for the two-wheeler sales are concerned, TVS registered a growth of 11% with sales increasing from 4,71,792 units in September 2024 to 5,23,923 units in September 2025. The domestic two-wheeler registered growth of 12% with sales increasing from 3,69,123 units in September 2024 to 4,13,279 units in September 2025.
The motorcycle segment registered a YOY growth of 9% in September 2025, while the scooter category saw a YOY increase of 17%. The company’s total exports grew from 1,11,007 units in September 2024 to 1,22,108 units in September 2025, marking a 10% YOY growth.
