The new TVS Raider 125 gets segment-first front and rear disc brakes, wider tyres and a boost mode for quick acceleration
TVS Motor Company has launched the updated TVS Raider 125 in the Indian market. At a starting price of Rs. 93,600 (ex-showroom), the sporty commuter motorcycle is available in two variants, i.e. TFT Dual Disc and the SmartXonnect Dual Disc. The top-spec TFT Dual Disc version is priced at Rs. 95,600 (ex-showroom).
Previously, a walkaround video of the new motorcycle surfaced online, revealing all the essential details. Now that the new TVS Raider 125 has been officially launched, we know that it gets a slew of new feature additions.
The highlight of the new model is the dual disc brakes with single-channel ABS, which will help improve the overall braking response. It is important to note that this is a segment-first feature. In addition to this, the Raider 125 now comes with a Boost Mode with iGO Assist, which enables the bike to accelerate quickly by providing a spontaneous power delivery.

The bike continues with the GTT (Glide Through Technology), which helps the rider to tackle crawling traffic by moving the bike smoothly without constant throttle input. The GTT improves the overall fuel efficiency, along with ensuring a hassle-free ride experience. The Follow Me headlamp is also a new addition to the Raider 125, which keeps the light on after the ignition is turned off.
The 2025 TVS Raider 125 continues to be powered by the familiar 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine three-valve unit, with a torque output of 11.75 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Amongst the major changes, the motorcycle also gets a new set of wider rubber, a 90/90-17 at the front and a 110/80-17 at the rear. This will potentially improve the grip levels of the two-wheeler.

Visually, the Raider 125 remains unchanged, however, the update gives it a Metallic Silver bodywork with a Red front alloy wheel. In order to provide a variety in the line-up, TVS is offering two connected display options.
You can choose between a full TFT instrument cluster with more than 99 features or a reverse LCD unit with over 85 features. It is important to note that both the variants will get the TVS SmartXonnect technology, which enables smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, offering features like voice assist, call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation and more.
