Based on the S variant, the Compass Track Edition comes with exterior and interior enhancements while retaining the same features and diesel engine
Jeep India has launched the Compass Track Edition in the country. Based on the range-topping S variant, it has been presented in three trims namely Track MT, Track AT and Track AT 4×4 at price points of Rs 26.78 lakh, Rs 28.64 lakh and Rs 30.58 lakh, respectively. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, India. Jeep Compass Track Edition bookings have commenced at all the company authorized dealerships while deliveries will start immediately across the country. The Track Edition comes with visual updates outside as well as inside the cabin over the regular version of the SUV.
First things first, Jeep Compass Track Edition flaunts signature decals on the hood while piano black detailing can be seen at several places such as the grille, badges, and moldings. In addition, it gets the exclusive Track Edition emblem. The limited-edition model rides on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels which are finished in tech grey theme with contrasting spruce beige highlights.
The more prominent updates are inside the cabin in the form of all-new Tupelo Leatherette Seats, Dark Espresso Smoke Chrome finishes, Spruce Beige contrast stitching, Tupelo vinyl accents with embossed Jeep branding, and Track Edition floor mats. Furthermore, it boasts of Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel with Piano Black inserts to accentuate the premiumness.

As for features, Jeep Compass Track Edition continues to carry the same features as the top-end S variant such as Dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 8-way electronically adjustable ventilated leather seats with memory function, 10.25-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, Alpine sound system and 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Integrated voice command system.
The Compass Track Edition also retains the 50+ standard safety features of the S grade including four-channel ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Advanced Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, all-speed traction control, rear seat reminder alert, and Rain Brake Assist. It will be available in five colours namely Pearl White, Brilliant Black, Techno Metallic Green, Exotica Red and Grigio Magnesio Grey.

Mechanically, there are no changes or updates at all as the Track Edition is equipped with the same 2.0L MultiJet II Turbo diesel engine which develops top power of 168 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. It can be availed with 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic transmission options with 4×2 and 4×4 drive systems. Jeep Compass is on sale with five standard variants namely Sport, Longitude/Longitude Plus, Limited and Model S.
