Tata Motors has celebrated a new milestone as its Nexon emerged as India’s best-selling car in September 2025, on its way to posting record sales numbers this quarter and outgrowing the industry during this festive period till September alongside recording impressive volume sales of over 60,000 units as it finished second behind Maruti Suzuki.
Building on its legacy as the first car in India to pioneer the safety revolution with a 5-star GNCAP rating, the Nexon now takes safety a step further with the introduction of a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in a single variant. The new suite includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Centering, High Beam Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Alongside these safety upgrades, Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Red Dark edition with the prices starting from Rs. 12.44 lakh. Available across petrol, diesel and CNG powertrains, the special edition emphasises a premium cosmetic appeal with red-themed accents and exclusive interior touches that set it apart from standard variants.

The Tata Nexon Red Dark edition is done up in Atlas Black exterior with a piano black grille surround, roof rails and skid plates. On the inside, the cabin features Granite Black surfaces highlighted with red, ventilated leatherette front seats with diamond quilting, red stitching, and #DARK-embroidered headrests.
Additional touches like a rear sunshade and upgraded infotainment interface enhance its premium demeanour further. Both petrol and diesel options are offered with manual or automatic gearboxes while the CNG variant will appease customers looking for frugality. The Nexon Red Dark edition starts at Rs.12.44 lakh for the petrol manual variant with other options spanning petrol DCA with ADAS at Rs.13.81 lakh, diesel manual at Rs.13.52 lakh, diesel AMT at Rs.14.15 lakh and CNG manual at Rs.13.36 lakh. Meanwhile, the Nexon Fearless + PS DCA ADAS is priced at Rs.13.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
