The new-gen Venue, scheduled to go on sale on November 4, brings a slew of extensive updates over the existing model
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has already unveiled the new-gen Venue ahead of its launch on November 4. Bookings for the compact SUV are now open with a token amount of Rs. 25,000. In this article, we will look at the top 10 changes presented in the new-gen Hyundai Venue.
1. Twin Displays

The highlight of the new Venue’s cabin is the dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, working as the infotainment system & digital instrument cluster. This is a big step forward from the current setup, giving the new Venue enhanced appeal in the technology department.

2. Larger Dimensions

With the generation update, the Venue has grown in size. It is 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than the outgoing model, however, the overall length remains the same as before. Apart from this, the wheelbase of the new model is longer by 20 mm.
3. Dash & Console

The new Venue gets an entirely new dashboard layout with a three-layer setup. The central AC vents are horizontally stacked, while the side vents are vertically positioned, connected via a seamless design element. The coffee table centre console gets surrounding ambient lighting, along with gear shift lever, wireless charger, two cup holders, rotary dial for drive model and electronic parking brake.
4. Steering Wheel & Interior Theme

The steering wheel of the Venue is an all-new D-cut unit with four dots, representing the letter ‘H’. It features the H-architecture cabin with a dual-tone interior (dark navy & dove grey) theme and a terrazzo-textured crash pad garnish.

5. New Styling

The exterior design of the Hyundai Venue has several standout elements, including Dark Chrome Radiator Grille, Quad beam LED headlamps, Twin Horn LED DRLs, bridge-type roof rails, new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and connected tail lamp setup.
6. New Features

In terms of features, the next-gen Venue takes a huge leap with new additions like Level 2 ADAS, front ventilated seats, electronic parking brake, front parking sensors, powered driver’s seat, dual display and more.
7. New Colours
Hyundai has added four new colour options to the Venue’s palette, including Mystic Sapphire, Hazel Blue, Dragon Red and dual-tone Hazel Blue with Abyss Black Roof.

8. New Variants
The new Venue gets an altogether different variant line-up from the existing E, EX, S, SX and SX (O) names. The new trims are dubbed as HX with a suffix number, like HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX7, HX8 and the top-spec HX10.
9. Improved Practicality
The new-gen Venue gets enhanced practicality with a longer wheelbase, resulting in better space for second row passengers. In addition to this, the compact SUV comes with a rear window sunshade and 2-step reclining rear seats. Moreover, the scooped front seatback and wider door openings add to the practicality of the compact SUV.

10. New Safety Tech
The safety kit on the new Venue includes Level 2 ADAS tech, front parking sensors, 360-degree parking camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, ESC (electronic stability control), hill-hold assist and 6-airbags standard. While the familiar 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre tGDi petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine continue to power the next-gen Venue, the new addition comes in the form of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option with the diesel engine.
